Installation:
The Breville BOV8OOXL sits on your countertop The electric cord is a little less than three feet long, so you need to make sure you have an outlet close to where you want to place the oven, but sufficiently far from items that could be damaged by the heat coming from the oven. The outlet needs to have at least a 20 amp breaker on the plug that you use, as at full heat the Smart Oven will pull 15 20 amps.
Useful features:
You can pull out the front-opening tray to brush off crumbs, or wash off accidental spills, even while the oven is in operation.
The oven door has magnetized areas that pull the oven rack about half way out when you open the door, making it easy to get your food out without risk of burning yourself.
The top of the oven gets hot when in use, and can be used to keep things warm. As an extra accessory, Breville has a bamboo chopping board which fits neatly on top of the oven, or perhaps you could find one yourself of the right dimensions 18 “ x 16”.
